Why Can't the Public Buy
"The Good Stuff"?

The sale (or possession) of larger pyrotechnic devices containing more than 50 milligrams of explosives is prohibited because, in the hands of a novice, they are very dangerous; but just because they're illegal doesn't mean you won't find an unscrupulous person selling them. Illegal "M-80's" or "cherry bombs", usually sold with unmarked packaging, lead to countless unfortunate deaths and injuries every year. Don't buy unmarked fireworks; they are illegal and they are dangerous. Special licensing, storage, permits and years of training are necessary for the types of fireworks we offer. We travel to China and hand-pick our suppliers and the products we bring home to America for the safest and most gorgeous, reliable pyrotechnic products. Safety is our number one concern with each carefully orchestrated fireworks event.

Planning your own "backyard" display?
Buy only from a legitimate and licensed dealer and also keep these tips in mind for a safe and fun event:

  • CHILDREN should never light or play with fireworks of any type
  • DRUGS or ALCOHOL and fireworks are a dangerous mixture - fireworks deserve your full attention
  • LAWS vary by locality--observe all local laws regarding purchase, transportation and use of fireworks!
  • WARNING labels give important safety information--read before use! Understand the hazards of each before lighting!
  • ALWAYS light your fireworks on a hard, flat surface, away from dry grass or other combustibles, and don't use during windy conditions
  • NEVER extend any body part over live fireworks; use a lighting device, punk or an outdoor butane lighter
  • DO NOT attempt to relight or fix any "dud" fireworks
  • LIGHT only one item at a time and get AWAY as soon as the fireworks is lit
  • KEEP a fire extinguisher, bucket of water or a garden hose handy
  • DON'T carry fireworks in your clothing and STORE them in a cool, dry place
  • AIM fireworks away from cars, people and buildings
  • NEVER use fireworks indoors!
